Terms
Your website and care plan
Version 1.1, in force from 14 September 2026.
Who we are. Insurance Agency Sites is a trade name of Abuina Inc, an Illinois corporation. In these terms “we” and “us” mean Abuina Inc, and “you” means the agency that buys. They are in plain English on purpose. If a line is unclear, email us and we will fix the wording, not explain it away.
What you are buying
-
Starter: $499 to build, then $79 a month. A three page website: Home, What We Write, and Contact and Quote. Built for phones first, served over HTTPS, with page titles and descriptions, InsuranceAgency structured data, a sitemap, and a quote request form that delivers to your inbox.
-
Agency: the six page website. Home, Personal Insurance, Commercial Insurance, About and Team, Contact and Quote, and Service Center, with everything in Starter plus a certificate request form. There are two ways to pay for the same site:
- Pay once: $1,500 to build, then $99 a month.
- Nothing down: no build fee, then $199 a month for the first 12 monthly payments and $99 a month after that.
-
Power up with InsuraMate AI. If you take InsuraMate AI with your site, the website build fee is waived, and the price is agreed with you on a demo in a separate agreement for InsuraMate AI. These terms cover the website.
-
Add-ons. Priced before we do them, and never billed without your yes in writing.
Add-on Price Every page in Spanish $500 one time Google Business Profile setup or cleanup $250 one time An extra page, a line of business or a second location $150 each Email set up on your domain (you pay Google or Microsoft directly) $150 one time
Paying
- How you pay. By card, on the Stripe checkout page we link to. On Starter and on pay once, the build fee is charged when you check out. On nothing down nothing is charged at checkout, and your card is kept for the monthly.
- When the monthly starts. Your first monthly charge is taken 14 days after checkout, or on launch day if your site goes live later than that. You are never charged a monthly before your site is live.
- Nothing down, after month 12. After your twelfth monthly payment of $199, the monthly drops to $99 and stays there.
- Tax. Prices do not include sales tax. If a tax applies to your purchase, we add it and show it on your receipt.
- Money back if we cannot launch. If your site is not live within 5 business days of us receiving your completed intake form, for reasons that are ours, you can ask for everything you have paid us for the site back, and we refund it within 10 business days. That refund is the whole remedy. The clock does not run while we are waiting on you: your review, your approval, your photos, a login, or access to your domain. If your domain is somewhere we cannot reach, the promise is that the site is finished and ready to point at, not that someone else’s registrar has moved.
- If a payment fails. We email you, and you have 10 days to fix it. After that we may pause hosting. We keep your site and backups for 60 more days before deleting them. We will never hold your domain, your files or your content to get paid.
- Price changes. We can change the monthly with 30 days notice in writing, and you can cancel instead of accepting it.
The care plan
-
What the monthly covers. Hosting, the SSL certificate, daily backups, uptime monitoring, security and software updates, your domain renewed at cost with no markup, and small changes by email.
-
Small changes. Live within 2 business days of your email. Something broken or offline is fixed as fast as we can, the same day where we can. A small change is one we can make in about half an hour that adds no new page and no new design work.
In, at no extra charge: editing text on any page, swapping or adding a photo, updating hours, phone numbers or addresses, adding or removing a team member or a carrier, updating a claims number or payment link, adding a PDF, changing where a form delivers, a seasonal notice or storm banner, and fixing a typo or a broken link.
Out, always priced before any work: new pages, new sections or a redesign, a new logo or brand, blog or article writing, translation, connecting your agency management system, CRM, quoting engine or payments, custom forms with conditional logic, online payment processing, SEO or advertising campaigns, landing pages for ads, anything that needs a designer, and anything that would take us more than about half an hour.
-
Cancelling. Cancel any time, from “Manage your care plan” at the bottom of our website or by email. The care plan ends at the end of the month you have already paid for. There is no notice period and no exit fee. On nothing down, cancelling before your twelfth payment ends the payments too: the site stays yours and you owe nothing more.
-
When it ends. We send you the complete site files, your content, your form settings and your DNS records, point your domain wherever you tell us, and help you move for 30 days. Your domain is already in your name, so nothing needs to be released.
-
If we end it. We can end the care plan with 30 days notice by email, and clause 15 still applies.
What we need from you
- The intake form. About twenty minutes, linked from the page you land on after checkout: your legal name, logo, address, hours, team, lines of business, where the forms should deliver, and your domain details.
- Your review. You read every page before launch and confirm it is correct. We do not launch a site you have not approved. You get one round of changes before launch, and changes after launch go through the care plan.
- If you go quiet. If we do not hear from you for 10 business days during the build, we pause and email you. We hold your work for 90 days, ready to pick up the moment you reply. After 90 days we archive the project and send you what we built. The money back promise in clause 9 does not cover a delay caused by waiting on you, and a build fee is not refunded once the work is done.
Who owns what
- You own the domain. A new domain is registered in your name at cost. An existing domain stays exactly where it is and we only change its DNS records. We never ask you to transfer a domain to us.
- You own the site. From launch day, on every way of paying, the finished site is yours: its pages, its copy, the images we made for you and the code of your specific site. The shared code and tools we use to build every site, and anything we built before or outside your project, stay ours, and you have a permanent right to keep using them as part of your site.
- You own your content. Your logo, photos, testimonials and existing copy stay yours. You confirm you have the right to give them to us.
Accuracy, advice and data
- You are responsible for what the site says about insurance. We write from your material, your carriers and your public information. You check it. Every carrier name, coverage description, phone number, address, hour and licence detail is yours to approve before launch and yours to keep current after.
- We are not an insurance agency. Abuina Inc is not a licensed insurance producer, agency or broker, and nothing we write is insurance advice. Your site describes what your agency offers and how to reach you. It does not recommend coverage, compare carriers, quote premiums or promise an outcome. If you ask us to publish something that reads as advice, we will say no.
- Your customers’ data. We do not run a customer database for you. Form submissions are delivered straight to the inbox you choose and are not stored in a portal or a CRM by us. We keep only what delivery needs, plus standard hosting logs and backups, and we delete delivery records within 30 days. We never sell, share or use your customers’ information for anything else. You are responsible for what you do with a submission once it reaches your inbox, and for your own privacy and record keeping duties.
Preview sites
- We may build you a preview before you are a client. It is built from public information only, it carries a noindex tag so search engines skip it, it is not linked from anywhere, and we send it to no one but you.
- It costs you nothing and commits you to nothing. If you do not go ahead, we delete it 30 days after we send you the link. Ask us to delete it sooner and we do it within 2 business days.
- A preview is not your site yet. It becomes yours under clause 21 when your site goes live.
Portfolio and credit
- Portfolio. We may show your finished site, with your agency name and a screenshot, in our portfolio and marketing. Tell us not to and we remove it.
- Footer credit. We put a small “Website by Insurance Agency Sites” line in the footer. Tell us to remove it and we remove it, at no charge.
The legal minimum
- What we are not responsible for. We do not promise search rankings, traffic, leads or revenue. We are not responsible for outages, failures or price changes at services outside our control, including your domain registrar, your email provider, Cloudflare, Stripe, Google and your carriers’ systems.
- Limit on liability. If something goes wrong, our total liability to you for everything connected with these terms is capped at the fees you have actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Neither of us is liable to the other for lost profits, lost business, lost data or other indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
- Fixed scope. This is a package, not custom development. Requests outside it get a price or a polite no.
- Independent contractor. We are your vendor, not your employee, partner or agent, and we do not act for you with any carrier, customer or regulator.
- The whole deal. These terms, plus any add-ons you approve in writing, are the whole arrangement between us. Changes have to be in writing, and email counts as writing throughout. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
Accepting these terms
Ticking the box at checkout accepts these terms, on every way of paying. If your agency’s records need a signed copy, email hello@insuranceagencysites.com and we will send one.
