Almost nothing. This page covers insuranceagencysites.com only. The websites we build for agencies each carry their own privacy page.

When you contact us

You can request a homepage preview or website check, use the booking link, or email us. If you book a walkthrough, the booking is handled by Calendly and you give them your name, email, phone number, agency name and a time, plus your current website and what you want from a new one if you choose to tell us. If you email us, we have your email.

One place on this site has boxes you can fill in: the calculator on our pricing page. They work inside your own browser. Nothing you put in them reaches us, and nothing is kept once you close the page.

If you buy online

Checkout runs on Stripe. You give Stripe your name, email, phone, billing address, card details and your agency name, and Stripe passes those to us, except your full card number, so that we can build your site and bill your care plan. The intake form after checkout runs on Tally and holds what you type into it.

If you become a client, we keep what we need to run your site and your billing while you are a client, and billing records for as long as the law requires.

Homepage previews and website checks

Our request forms are hosted by Tally and displayed inside this site, with a link to open them separately. They collect your agency name, work email, website and any concern you choose to share. The website field is optional for a homepage preview. Tally stores the submission; we use it to prepare your concept or report, reply and follow up about the request. Campaign labels in the form link tell us which outreach batch brought a request. We keep a private working record of the request and its outcome. This does not subscribe you to a newsletter. You can ask us to stop following up or delete your request by emailing hello@insuranceagencysites.com. Do not submit policyholder information or passwords.

What we do with it

We reply to you. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone else. If you do not become a customer we delete the thread when it stops being useful, and you can ask us to do it sooner.

Cookies and counting visits

Our analytics use no cookies or persistent browser storage. Embedded forms are served by Tally; its privacy policy describes how it processes form data.

We count visits with PostHog, so we know whether anyone is reading this. For each page it records the page, the site you came from, your browser with its language and time zone, your operating system, the kind of device and its screen size, and roughly where you are, worked out from your IP address: the country, the region, the city and a rough position on a map. The IP address itself is then thrown away. We count clicks on Buy, Book a call, sample sites, preview requests and website checks, plus steps in our illustrative demonstration. For embedded request forms we count when a form loads and when Tally confirms a submission. We do not send your answers, email address or Tally submission identifiers to PostHog. Campaign labels tell us which outreach batch a visit came from. We carry those labels in links within this site, without storing them in your browser. No visitor profile is made, and each page load gets a new random identity.

Draft sites we have built for an agency to look at sit at their own address on this domain. Those pages do record that they were opened, so we know whether to follow the draft up, and while the tab is open they keep a random id, so that reading four pages is not counted as four people. It is gone when you close the tab, and nothing is left on your machine. Each of them says on every page that it is a draft, and carries its own privacy page.

Client sites

When we build a site for an agency, quote and certificate requests go straight to that agency’s inbox as email. We do not store them, and we do not keep a copy of any agency’s customer data.
